Unclimbed peak on the Nepalese / Tibetan border

We tried climbing a remote virgin peak, Swelokhan (6'180m), located on the Tibetan / Nepalese border, in the Manaslu area. 

After the acclimatizing on the Manaslu trek and passing the beautiful Larke Pass, we set our base camp on the Rui La pass at 5'000m. We were a team of three people... the only ones in the area. A very wild expedition far from the beaten tracks.

We climbed up to 5'700m, explored several routes, and had to stop because the rock was of bad quality, with high risks of rockfalls.

Great experience, in a remote and beautiful part of Nepal :-)
